Amoral

Amoral was founded in 1997 by Juhana Karlsson and Ben Varon , but released their first demos only from 2001 onward. Their 2004 debut album Wound Creations came out for Rage of Achilles , which bankrupted shortly after and was picked up by Spikefarm Records which helped the band to rise from the underground scene. Due to "conflicting schedules and a fading interest in touring in some members", Amoral eventually played their final show (covering their full discography, and being joined by former band members) on January 5, 2017, at the Tavastia Club in Helsinki, Finland, and split-up. In November 2024 the band announced a reunion for a couple of shows in summer 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Decrowning .
