The Almighty

There is a significant shift in musical direction after their second album and the departure of guitarist Tantrum. The Almighty first called it quits in 1996, citing various record company issues and frustrations with the music industry as the reasons. The band reformed around 1999 for two more albums, only to disband again in 2002. The Almighty reunited for the second time in 2006 to play benefit shows for former bass player Floyd London , who had had leukemia since 2004. They did more shows in 2008 and were considering recording a new album, but the band had been put on ice once more until they announced another reunion in February 2023. Ricky Warwick released several solo albums, one of them produced by Joe Elliott , worked as a fitness instructor, and eventually joined Thin Lizzy / Black Star Riders.
