The Art of Choking
After Kenji Miyajima 's student visa expired and he was forced to return to Japan, bringing a sudden and complete end to Diabolicus at the end of 1990, Ray decided to start up a project again while he was on probation in early 1993 (his P.O. being the mother of Ludaci 's Doug Elfers), leading to his resurrection of his past project Criminal Axe (later renamed Crippled Crunch ). After various lineup changes, eventually Ray and Rich Troha recruited the rhythm section of the Cleveland outfit Absolute Zero , creating a new project was later renamed The Art of Choking . After The Art of Choking's somewhat short career Ray DeLorenzo and Rich Troha continued together into another project. The two of them soon started recording and playing live shows as Ministry -influenced Industrial Rock/Metal music duo called Kringe . They would go on to release a 4-song demo in 1997 and record an entire album worth of unreleased songs before their eventual split in 1998.
