A Life Less Alive
Formed in December 1997 by Ohio native Ernie Hernandez and Juan Londono, while serving in the US Marines in Irvine, California. Ernie returned to Ohio between June and December 1998, recording a session that would be the new re-recording of the "Bleeding Entrails" demo and the "Live from the Lake" demo. He then returned to California until July 1999, recording "Full of Maggots" during his time there. During his final move home he was forced to leave his car behind in the California desert, only realizing after that the Master tapes for the first 2 versions of the "Bleeding Entrails" demo were left behind, along with the Master tape for the demo of Ernie's pre-ALLA black metal band Incubus of Death . Until any of the handmade original released copies of either resurface, all three have since been considered lost. Aside from the first 6 months of ALLA's existence after forming, and the brief return in 1999, the entire rest of ALLA's career has been based out of the Sheffield Lake/Avon Lake/Avon area of Lorain County, Ohio.
