Catalog Credits
MetalClub’s public band and album catalog is bootstrapped from open, reusable data. We do not copy Encyclopaedia Metallum, and we do not paste Wikipedia articles as biographies.
MusicBrainz
Artist, album, track, member, and relationship facts come from the MusicBrainz core database dump, licensed CC0. See the MusicBrainz data license. We do not import MusicBrainz user tags, ratings, or annotations (those use a non-commercial license).
Wikidata
Metal genre membership, countries, years, and short descriptions come from Wikidata, which is also CC0.
Cover Art Archive
Album covers are linked from the Cover Art Archive (MusicBrainz and the Internet Archive). Those images remain copyrighted by their owners. MetalClub does not claim them.
Wikimedia Commons
Some band photos are linked from Wikimedia Commons files that Wikidata marks as freely licensed. Fair-use Wikipedia photos are not used.
