Copyright And Takedown
Catalog facts come from MusicBrainz (CC0 core dump) and Wikidata (CC0). Album covers linked from the Cover Art Archive remain copyrighted by labels and artists. Band photos linked from Wikimedia Commons remain under their file licenses.
Ask us to remove an image
If you own the rights to a cover or photo shown on MetalClub and want it removed, email copyright@metalclub.local with:
- The band or album page URL (or slug)
- Which image to remove
- Your relationship to the copyright holder
- A statement that you have the right to make the request
We will clear the image URL (and any cached file if one exists) so the catalog entry keeps its facts but no longer shows that artwork.
What we will not do
We will not republish Encyclopaedia Metallum, copy Wikipedia biographies, or ship a dump of album artwork. We do not sell catalog images as posters or merch.
