Angel of Fire

From Left-to-Right: Ryan Laws , Scott Rudenjak , Mike Sorensen , John Soden , Tony Laws . Angel of Fire was formed in early 2006 by Nick Lefkowich and Tony Laws. Drummer John Soden and bassist Ryan Laws both joined the band within the same year. Kevin Swarner was the initial rhythm guitarist for the band, but due to a lack of commitment he was kicked out of the band. In early 2007, the band replaced him with Mikael "Mike" Sorensen. Tony and Ryan are brothers. Tony is the older of the two. On Valentines Day 2008, the band was signed to Romulus X records. The deal was later changed though to Trench Tone Records, a subsidiary of the Romulus X label for newer bands due to complications in the deal with Romulus X. Trench Tone Records is run by Erik Kirby, a cousin of rhythm guitarist Mikael Sorensen.
