Angry Hate Infestation

With roots started in the punk band The Democraps in the Chicago suburbs in the late-'90s, the band moved to a guitar and drum machine goregrind project initially called Fecus Christ with the addition of Spencer on vocals, Steve guitar/drums/vocals, and Brett on guitar. After a short period of making demos, the band changed the moniker to Angry Hate Infestation and added Phil on vocals. Around 2002, Frost was added on bass and eventually switched to guitar. In 2005, the band recorded its first EP, a Christmas-themed record entitled All I Want For Christmas was This Shitty CD , which was self-recorded and released by the band in December 2005. During the production of the EP, Chris contributed some vocals and subsequently joined the band on guitar/vocals. In late 2006, the band started rehearsing and performing new material. Brett would leave the band as he decided to peruse other non-metal musical projects with the original drummer from The Democraps. Around 2007, the band added a live drummer, Dakota, and began writing new music incorporating a drummer. In late 2008, the band recorded its first CD entitled Inspirational Songs of Love And Understanding , recorded at the College of Dupage in Glenn Ellyn, IL. Artwork was done by Lou Rusconi. As of 2014, the album is still in post-production. In late 2009 a new untitled album was recorded at Wright on Carroll in Garfield Park, Chicago, IL. This album is still in production as only instruments were recorded. In 2011, the band released a four-song sampler.
