Ankhalimah

Ankhalimah was formed in July 14, 2007, by the hands of its two founders, Guilherme Klausner, and Yuichi Inumaru. Originally it featured drummer Cadu Franco, bassist Victor Hugo Lopes and guitarist Gabriel Martins (Lumino'). At the beginning the band was formed by friends who made music for fun only, with no major commitments. But with time, it evolved to a defined sound style and began working on songs for a CD. Ankhalimah is a pun of three words: Ankh, Kalimah, and Ancalima. Ankh is the key of life, the Egyptian symbol associated with eternity. Kalimah means literally “word” Arabic, as in Six Kalimah’s of Islam. Ancalima is Elvish (Sindarin) for "brightest / radiant" (as in "Aya Ëarendill Elenion Ancalima").
