Apotamkin

The Apotamkin is a creature in Maliseet and Passamaquoddy mythology. It is described a giant fanged sea monster that lives in the Passamaquoddy Bay, specifically at the mouth of St. Croix River, and pulls people in to eat them, particularly careless children.
